Spent more than 30 years in resources and international trade at Daewoo International and SK Networks. Building on a CIS network developed as Kazakhstan Branch Director, Richard Kim has led Pet Legend Co., Ltd. since 2015 and in 2024 set up the Moscow company to run business in Russia directly.
As Russia Representative of the OK Advisory Group (2nd term) under the Overseas Koreans Agency, Richard Kim founded Seoul Global to reconnect Korea–Russia trade cut off by the Russia-Ukraine war.
